Trauma-Informed Victim Advocacy in Kenya
Justice Pamoja + AEquitas | 30 September 2026
Approximately 35–40 participants, including student lawyers and advocates, joined Justice Pamoja and AEquitas for a practical training with Jane Anderson, Senior Attorney Advisor at AEquitas.
The session explored how advocates can support survivors through the criminal justice process, protect their safety, autonomy, and privacy, and represent their interests effectively. Participants also learned about Justice Pamoja’s work connecting survivor-centered legal representation with mentorship for the next generation of Kenyan lawyers.
Thank you to Jane, the AEquitas team, and everyone who joined us.
