As a law student at Mount Kenya University, Keith describes volunteering with Justice Pamoja as transformative. “Volunteering with Justice Pamoja has been a once in lifetime experience in my journey as a law student.” Working alongside fellow students and experienced advocates to address gender-based violence has expanded his understanding of what meaningful legal support requires. He has come to see that effective advocacy extends far beyond the courtroom.

he especially values the organization’s training sessions on victim-oriented care and the legal aid clinics at Githurai and Kiambiu where the team connected directly with community members seeking help. The experience has deepened his appreciation for the diligence, compassion, and persistence required to truly support survivors within the Kenyan legal system.

Looking ahead, he is eager to continue building his practical legal skills through hands-on service. “I am grateful for the chance to learn from this team and contribute to such vital work.”
