Miriam Wanjiku

Student Lawyer

Miriam Wanjiku is a student at the Mount Kenya University School of Law, where her academic focus is rooted in the protection of human rights. She is driven by the core values of equality and human dignity.

Through her active participation in legal aid clinics in Githurai and Kiambiu, Miriam has witnessed the devastating impact of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) and the need to bridge the gap between legal theory and action. These experiences have driven her commitment to be a voice for the vulnerable in the society.

She views Justice Pamoja as a beacon of hope for survivors of violence in their pursuit for justice.
