Seline Awuor
Student Lawyer
Seline Awuor is a law student at Kenyatta University with a strong interest in gender-based violence (GBV) advocacy, access to justice, and survivor-centered legal practice. She is motivated by the belief that justice should be both accountable and empowering for survivors of gender-based violence.
Through Justice Pamoja’s Wakili wa Kesho program, Seline has been attached to an advocate handling a GBV case, where she has gained practical experience in litigation, legal research, and case preparation. She has also contributed to internal discussions on prosecution approaches in intimate partner violence, engaging with the legal and procedural challenges that shape these cases.
Seline is committed to strengthening survivor-centered responses within Kenya’s legal system and to growing as an advocate who combines legal rigor with compassion.
